Penelope joined Jeremy James and Company in 2017 and is responsible for all financial matters. She prepares service charge and ground rent demands for all lessees of each block of flats which we manage, and keeps an accurate record of all payments collected.
She also ensures that rent is paid promptly by tenants of the individual flats which we manage, and making sure the rent is forwarded on to the landlord in a timely manner. She also pays all the suppliers’ invoices.
We have separate bank and reserve accounts for each managed block of flats so that payments and receipts can be reconciled and correctly, and allocated to each building’s income and expenditure schedule.
